  Technology Risk Management
  Technology risk management provides assurance that threats to the availability, confidentiality and integrity of an organization’s information systems and identified andaddressed. LOGIC Operations Consulting employs a structured approach to technology risk management, first performing a risk assessment to ensure that the review is focused on the most critical aspects of the systems. The result of such a review is normally a brief report outlining:

  Key risks and findings
  Key controls and weaknesses identified in relation to those risks
  Recommendations on possible improvements to controls
  Improved transparency, buy-in and commitment from internal and external     stakeholders
  Management based on consistent and transparent planning and performance metrics

The review team evaluates each system and the processes it supports to assess whether there are adequate controls to ensure:

  Pre-Implementation Reviews and Due Diligence
  Before going live with any major new software or outsourcing services agreement, it is wise to ensure that it is ready for implementation and that all the appropriate controls have been tested and are in place. Our team of specialists can undertake a pre-implementation review to examine the effectiveness of the software and to test the controls.

In particular, we will check that all the appropriate procedures have been completed. We will look at the general controls and specific application controls within the system, tailoring thetesting to an application that does not yet exist in a live environment, thereby enabling any areas of weakness to be highlighted and corrected before the software goes live.
  Post-Implementation Reviews
  After the implementation of any major system or service, it is often necessary to assess the solution and its integration into the business. Not only will this highlight any issues which may need resolving over the forthcoming months, but it will also help improve any future implementations.
